       Building a Rainbow
       
       The puddle at my feet
       grew with every raindrop
       I saw the trees beneath
       Me falling
       the clouds smoking gray
       and a rainbow bursting
       out from underneath.

       Last night as you slept
       I looked at your body,
       your face and your hands
       They told me more
       than you ever had or
       ever will
       I decided to leave you
       in the night
       It was the safer way
       But before I left I
       climbed on top of you
       and completely convered you
       with me
       You will not remember when
       you awake
       But I know you will never forget
       what you don't know--
       what you can't see--
       only what you can
       feel--
